Job Positions

Assistant: A support role in which the individual provides administrative assistance to a higher-level employee or team.

Junior Computer Operator: Entry-level position responsible for operating and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.

Network Administrator: Manages and maintains computer networks within an organization, ensuring they operate efficiently and securely.

Research Assistant: Supports research projects by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data under the guidance of a researcher or project lead.

About Punjab Public Service Commission

To conduct tests, examinations, and interviews for recruitment to: such Provincial Services and posts connected with the affairs of the Province, as may be prescribed; and such posts in or under a Corporation or other body or organization set up by the Government under any law, as may be prescribed. To advise the Government on such matters as may be prescribed relating to the terms and conditions of service of persons who are members of a Provincial Service or hold posts in connection with the affairs of the Province. Such other functions as may be prescribed.

1. The Network Administrator

Case No: 40-RJ/2024

Post No.: 1 (Open Case)

Basic Scale: BS-17

Position Type: Contract-based (up to 3 years)

Qualifications/Experience: M.Sc., B.S., Ph.D. (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from an institution recognized by HEC. 3 years of background experience in a public or private organization registered with the SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other regulatory agency.

Age Range:

• Male: 35 years
• Female: 38 years

2. The Assistant

Case No: 41-RJ/2024

Post No.: 2 (Open Case)

Basic Scale: BS-16

Position Characteristics: Permanently based

Qualification/Experience: Degree from a recognized institution.

Age Range:

• Male: 30 years
• Female: 33 years

3. Junior Computer Operator

Case No: 31-RC/2024

Number of Posts:

• 1 Free Merit Use
• 1 For Minority
• 1 Women Quota

Basic Scale: BS-12

Position Type: Contract-based (up to 3 years)

Qualifications/Experience: Intermediate + MS Office/ICS (2nd Division) with speed of 40 wpm on computer.

Age Range:

• Male: 30 years
• Female: 33 years

4. Research Assistant

Case No: 32-RC/2024

Post No.: 1 (Open Case)

Basic Scale: BS-15

Position Characteristics: Permanently based

Qualifications/Experience: BS in Accounting, or BA/BSc. Auditing was an elective from an HEC-accredited institution with one year of experience in collecting and recording audit data.

Age Range:

• Male: 30 years
• Female: 33 years
